The website is operated by Privalent, the developer of Skillix. For the purposes of the GDPR, Privalent acts as the data controller in relation to any personal data processed through this website. As such, it is the responsibility of Privalent to safeguard your privacy.

2. What personal data we collect

a) Email address (voluntary sign-up)

If you choose to sign up to receive updates about Skillix, we collect your email address. We use this data only to send periodic updates about the development and release of the app. The legal basis for the processing of this data is that you choose to receive these updates by e-mail, which legally speaking constitutes a contract. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any of our emails or by contacting us directly at info@skillixapp.com.

b) Cookie data

3. Data sharing

We do not share your personal data with third parties, except:

• With Brevo, a privacy-friendly e-mail provider which we use to send out our e-mails to you, and
• If required by law – although we would first ensure the validity of the law and the request for data.

4. Data transfers

Your data will be processed only within the European Union. Our servers and those of Brevo are all located within the EU (see also this article by Brevo).

5. How long we keep your data

• Email addresses: retained until you unsubscribe or we discontinue the update service.
• Cookie data: retained according to the retention periods set by Reddit and our analytics tools.
